During our Italian getaway we spent a few days in the vibrant city of Florence. I’ve been to this charming Italian city before with my parents and little sister, and on a school trip, but I’m always happy to come back again. Below you’ll find a few little gems I love to visit while in Florence:
4Leoni
I personally prefer to stay on the other side of the river, as all of my favorite shops and restaurants are there and it’s also a little less touristy. This cozy place was everything we were looking for while in Florence. We loved sitting on the terrace overlooking a quiet en charming square, ordering classic Italian dishes along with a bottle of delicious wine.
Via de’ Vellutini, 1r
La Ménagère
An incredible place with a vibrant and classy atmosphere, tasty food and filled with blooming flowers.
Via de’ Ginori, 8/r
SimBIOsi
We stumbled upon this charming little place during a morning stroll in the city. We went here for dinner and had one of the best (organic) pizza’s we’ve ever tasted. Adorable restaurant, delicious food and lovely atmosphere.
Via De’ Ginori 56r
Manzo
A typical little Italian trattoria serving delicious plates of food. If you against all odds get tired of pasta and pizza, this could be the perfect place for you as they serve the most tasty burgers. I already want to go back.
Via dei Ginori, 24r
Langolino Gastrobar
A cute little bar, located just a stone’s throw away from the Piazzale Michelangelo.
Via delle Caldaie, 8r
Uashmama
I discovered Uashmama a few months ago and since then, I’m a big fan of this inspiring Italian brand that makes the most incredible paper bags. My personal favorites: the winebag and bread baskets.
Borgo S. Jacopo, 30r
