Weekend Reading

The first week of May has been grey and rainy. It was one of those weeks I’d love to spend in bed with a warm blanket, cupcakes and jasmine tea. Still I am happy this month has finally arrived, since it’s filled with birthdays and holidays. Somehow everyone around me seems to become one year older in May. Today is also Mother’s Day, the perfect day to pamper the sweetest mum I could ever wish for! Happy Mother’s Day!

  • Yes I have to admit, these grey past few days have made me an even bigger Pinterest addict. Come and join me!
  • Last week, the chic and prestigious Met Ball organized by Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour took place. This year’s theme was White and Decoration (how lovely?). I loved, loved, loved the magnificent decor and incredibly pretty designers dresses. My favourites were Victoria Beckham, Blake Lively and Sarah Jessica Parker.
  • After seeing these romantic photos of Paris on Katie’s blog Hope Engaged I feel like I want to hop on a plane to the City of Lights as soon as possible!
  • Are you an ambitious – and at times insecure – twenty-something lady? Then you cannot miss this blog post that provides some clear guidance to take in for the best shot at success and happiness.
