New York Favourites Laduree Soho

Indulging in some yummy cupcakes from the lovely Magnolia Bakery, having lunch at Ladurée Soho (Yes, I admit, I have a terrible sweet tooth), enjoying the endless lights and New Yorkers who are on their way to work or a lunch date with Starbucks coffee in their hand, meeting some very inspiring people (one is the lovely and incredibly talented Sara who took me to the pretty Bluestone Lane), drinking tea in one of the many cosy places in West Village and wandering around Central Park. It was my first visit to New York and somehow, the city that never sleeps really managed to sweep me off my feet.

I loved strolling through West Village and the Upper East Side on sun kissed afternoons and wonder about the New Yorkers who live there and the stories they have to tell. I began to wonder what it would be like to live in this city. Would I feel at home in this big and overwhelming city? Or would I feel lonely at times? For me, I think I would be blissfully happy to call New York my home for a little while and feel inspired everyday by the incredible buildings (The Condé Nast building, the view from the top of the Empire State and the crowded streets are engraved in my memory forever), the New Yorkers and how they live their lives. New York is the place to be if you want to be inspired and eat lots of delicious food. I managed to satisfy my cravings for all the delicious things. Italian risotto, French pastries, Swedish candy and American cupcakes. You can literally find anything in this city. And yes, I ate it all.

Here are some of the photographs I took while visiting this lovely and vibrant city.
