Travel guide Barcelona

A homemade life Barcelona

My favorite thing about the lively city of Barcelona is that is has a little bit of everything. A visit to this Spanish city means a healthy dose of incredible architecture (La Sagrada Familia is one of my favorites!), some of the most renowned restaurants and quick access to the beach any time I’d like. Barcelona, to me, is pretty perfect! If you’re considering taking a trip with girlfriends then you can’t go wrong with a trip to Barcelona. Oh, and did I mention the Cava and charming Spanish men?

A homemade life Barcelona 2

I visited Barcelona last weekend with a few girlfriends and we had the most blissful time, enjoying the pretty views, delicious Spanish food and a little trip to the beach where we had the best paella. One of the restaurants we went to was Artesans. A cozy place that serves the best Cava and even better tapas. I highly recommend trying the octopus which was the best I’ve ever tasted. Another charming tapas place is La Bona Sort. If you want to grab a quick bite before dinner then I’d highly recommend Bormuth. The girls and I loved sitting by the open windows, sipping on a glass of white wine and enjoying some tasty bites. Another cozy place to have some drinks and dinner is Número nueve. A place where you can enjoy cocktails and Asian tapas and get inspired by the incredible interior.

If you want to do a little bit of shopping – and who doesn’t while in Barcelona? – here are a few places we visited and that have to most exquisite clothes: Coquette, a lovely store that offers a choice of elegant and feminine brands, TwoThirds, a stylish clothing brand with a mission to be environmentally friendly and Dr. Bloom.
